Hummus

  • 2 cups cooked garbanzo beans / chic peas, drained (set some juice aside for later)
  • 1/3 cup sesame tahini
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp bragg's liquid aminos
  • 3-4 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 clove garlic

    combine all ingredients in a blender and start on a low setting working up to full blend - pulse if needed, and use a spatula to scrape the edges and mix the bottom blended stuff with the top... add the drained bean juice as needed to get the right consistency - not too thick not too thin... when thoroughly blended, pour in a container or bowl and refrigerate for at least an hour... serve with fresh veggies
